The development of Collection Premiere Moscow (6.-9.9.) reflects the strong growth of the Russian fashion market. A total of 1,100 brands are exhibiting on an area enlarged by 9,000 m² to 40,000 m² in the Moscow Expo Center until Saturday. The number of participating companies increased by 20% to 30%. The organizer Igedo expects significantly more than 15,000 visitors, i.e., 15% more than at the event in the previous year. Representatives of German companies such as Brax, Olsen und Lerros expressed unanimous satisfaction about the enormous interest in ordering displayed by Russian retailers. A lot of booths had crowds of visitors.
"This is a booming market with fantastic potential," Nikolaus Reusch, Managing Partner of Kapalua, stated. Kapalua's exports increased by 15% to 20% over the past three to four years. "Business in the middle market segment is especially increasing," Carla Korn, Managing Director of Steilmann for Eastern Europe, said. The company, which is the largest exhibitor at CPM, has already increased sales by 20% this year in Russia compared to the previous year.
