Is there a sustainable consumerism ? In fact, the consumerism is only one, and we all know it damages the environment. Let us stop talking for sustainable fashion. The fashion has only one face, it damages our planet with:
- the consumption, whether we produce it from cotton, flax or bamboo. Whatever name you give the product - organic, green, eco, we destroy the environment;
- the dyeing process - why cannot we hear from the United Nations a clear message how many oceans, the fashion industry has polutted with the chemicals used when dyeing fabrics and garments; It is not only this brook, which we see on the picture below;
- the finishing process - see the picture of the man with the mask, he has to work for a living, how many years of living he might have, for us to have our fashion jeans;

How many pair of shoes do we need to have a normal life, how many t-shirts do we need in our wardrobe to say enough?
Where does this garbage go after we throw it out? Again poluting the planet.

This is the face of the fashion - with a mask, and behind the mask is the brand, the reputation of the fashion world, the False Fashion. The one that drives consumerism, but definately not sustainability. The fashion is the one that calls people consumers, not humans. The fashion that talks a lot, saying lies.

If there is a will among the fashion world to make a better life for the man with the mask, for the rest of people in the world, I would say to the designers and the brands:

Please make the world white if you want to see it green !

The blue is nice, we like the color of our oceans and our sky, but if we want to see a life on the earth while we and our children live on the only planet we have we need to live piecefully. And piecefully means white !
