H&M supports UNICEF

The global fashion company H&M is donating $1.5 million to UNICEF to support programmes enrolling more girls in school and to support HIV/AIDS prevention programmes in Cambodia. The donation, to be given over a three-year period, will enable hundreds of thousands of girls around the world to have the same access to basic education as boys. Worldwide, the majority of the 122 million children currently out of school are girls.

H&M’s donation to UNICEF will also enable thousands of adolescents in Cambodia to receive HIV/AIDS awareness training, addressing the group hardest hit by HIV/AIDS.
